President Bola Tinubu has commissioned the first set of Compressed Natural Gas, CNG, buses at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The buses, 20 in numbers in the first batch, were produced in Nigeria by Innoson Motors.

The government said it was optimistic that the buses will help to ease transportation problems, especially in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

By providing the CNG buses, the federal government has met part of the demands made by organised labour following the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government on May 29, 2023.
