- Playloaded Song Of The Week
So, you might have noticed some bad network since morning! I know many people that complained about it so well today.
Turns out, we’ve got a bit of a situation on our hands – seems like there’s been some damage to the international undersea cables that keep our telecom and banking systems running smoothly in Nigeria.
Yup, you heard it right. These cables, which are like the lifelines of our internet connectivity, took a hit near Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire.
But One mind is telling me that “Maybe its a purposeful act by the Ivorians, they still want to punish us, after beating us in the AFCON again” 😂 – Na Joke O!
The main reason for the damage has yet to be identified till the time of writing this report. But I suspect it might be a Shark Attack – Cause that’s one of the major problem faced by Undersea cables hithero.
But let me tell you, it’s causing quite a big wahala across West and South Africa right now – Cause it’s seriously affecting the whole Banking and Telcos sector.
The big players affected by this mess up are the West Africa Cable System (WACS), Africa Coast to Europe (ACE), MainOne, and SAT3 cables. And basically, all Nigerian Telcos rely heavy on WACS & MainOne cable.
Na MTN users suffer pass today 😂
MTN subscribers have been reporting sluggish data speeds since morning. That Even GLO subscribers are Thanking God they are using GLO 😂
So you’ve seen why the Network is bad today – Don’t go out there and be abusing Network Providers O! They are trying so hard to fixing this right now too.
