In an earlier report, the federal government revealed a schedule for the Independence Day celebration. The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, disclosed that the event would begin with a World Press Conference on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
An Inter-Ministerial Committee, inaugurated by Hadiza Usman on behalf of the SGF, will oversee and execute the events for the anniversary.
