A Nigerian man expresses the frustration and heartbreak of taking back a girlfriend who had cheated on him, only to be betrayed again.

In the now-viral post, he wrote: 

“It’s crazy when you take back a cheat 🙂… Good morning. She cheated with her ex… I got to know, I took her back, and she just did again last night.”

Sharing a snapshot of the apology note she sent, the lady emphasized being undeserving of a good man like him even though what they had was perfect.

“Lately, I noticed that I haven’t loved you the way I should have.
You deserve to be LOVED but it hurt that I can’t do that.
I will never deny that “I loved you”.
Taking our relationship to the previous level would be best for each of us.
I cherished the moments we shared.
You deserve better and you’d get just that ijn,” she wrote.
