His Excellency Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, extended his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah worldwide on the occasion of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir celebration. His message, posted on his social media accounts on Sunday, June 16, 2024, reads:
“I join well-wishers globally in celebrating the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir with the Muslim Ummah in Plateau State and beyond.
“I warmly rejoice with the Muslim Ummah on this special occasion, which underscores the virtues of sacrifice and full submission to God’s will. As we celebrate, I encourage everyone to reflect on the values of love, charity, and selflessness and work towards fostering a more united and peaceful Plateau State.
“The significance of Eid-el-Kabir is profound. It offers the Muslim Ummah a valuable opportunity to invoke God’s blessings on Nigerian leaders as we strive to provide the high-quality leadership our citizens deserve.
“My administration is committed to protecting all citizens and ensuring their welfare. We have provided substantial support to the Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board to ensure a smooth 2024 Hajj.
“I advise those embarking on the 2024 Hajj to pray for the peace and unity of Plateau State and the nation, urging them to act as good ambassadors and look forward to a safe return.
“I also urge citizens to respect the law and support government policies aimed at restructuring the state to create a conducive business environment where citizens can pursue their dreams without hindrance.
“I reassure you of my administration’s commitment to addressing the current hardships, especially those faced by the masses, and I pledge my dedication to securing lives and property.
“Barakah Da Sallah!”
