A Nigerian man who initially urged Blessed to conduct a DNA test has now reversed his stance, breaking down in tears and pleading for forgiveness from Nathaniel Bassey and Mercy Chinwo.

Identified on Facebook as Agozi Comedy, the young man asserted that Mercy Chinwo’s child, shared with her husband Blessed Uzochikwa, bore a striking resemblance to Nathaniel Bassey.

He advised Blessed to undergo a DNA test, expressing doubts about the child’s paternity and suggesting it might be linked to Nathaniel Bassey.

Despite facing significant backlash, Agozi Comedy persisted with his accusations, alleging paternity fraud on the part of Mercy Chinwo.

In response, Nathaniel Bassey took legal action by lodging a police petition against Agozi Comedy and other social media users who echoed similar claims.

Overwhelmed by the repercussions, Agozi Comedy took to his social media platform in tears, begging for forgiveness from the gospel singers.

He confessed to being gripped by depression since the petition’s announcement and pleaded for a second chance, admitting the frenzy of social media swept him up.
