In Zaria, Kaduna State, a group of Muslims organized a special prayer session at Mallawa Eid praying ground to seek Allah’s help amid the escalating economic crisis in Nigeria.

Men and women from various parts of the town attended the prayer, where the Chief Imam of Bakin Kasuwa Jumaat Mosque, Mallam Muhammadu Sani Labudda, highlighted the severity of the challenges and emphasized the urgent need for Allah’s intervention.

With essential goods’ prices on the rise and Ramadan approaching, the cleric stressed the importance of collective prayers during these trying times.

Suleiman Ibrahim, Head of the Islamiyya Schools association in Zaria, emphasized Muslims’ duty to prioritize charitable giving and seek forgiveness through abstaining from sins.
