Plateau State Government, AGILE and World Bank Partner to Build 55 New Secondary Schools

    The Plateau State government, in collaboration with the Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning and Empowerment, AGILE, has awarded contracts for 55 new secondary schools across the state.

    This effort aims to further empower the girl child in the state and ensure maximum learning.

    At a ceremony held in the government house, Jos yesterday, His Excellency, Governor Caleb Mutfwang, expresses his appreciation to AGILE and the World Bank for their efforts in this regard.

    Meanwhile, the AGILE project coordinator, Shirinkpo Maina, highlights the features of the schools to include a block of four classrooms, an administrative block, a multipurpose hall, among others, as well as spoke about the benefits of the structures across the state.
