Popular Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has publicly criticized the governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, who is also the uncle of fellow singer Davido, for dancing in a viral video.
Wizkid expressed his disapproval in a series of posts on his official media page via the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
In what appears to be a subtle dig, Wizkid indirectly targeted Davido, making several remarks that many interpreted as aimed at the singer.
While Davido has remained silent and has yet to respond, Wizkid escalated the situation by taking a jab at Governor Adeleke, mocking him for dancing in public and sharing a video of the incident.
Wizkid wrote:
“When you see people raised by their family, you can tell! You won’t catch my uncle dancing online!”
The post has sparked widespread backlash on social media, with many users criticizing Wizkid for his comments.
